About the appeal
The church and Tom Hauley Room are at the heart of Harbury. We fill the church’s 400 seats at Christmas, at Easter, and for Remembrance Day. We celebrate here our births, weddings and deaths. The church and Tom Hauley Room serve the whole community all year round as a place of worship and a social centre for groups and organisations of all ages.

The church and Tom Hauley Room have new, efficient heating systems
The gas bill for the church has fallen by 40%
The boilers are ready for hydrogen fuel
All worn and dangerous wiring has been completely renewed
Total capital cost £288,000 Thank you to all who contributed
The Stonework still needs urgent repair
Stone
- Some of the stonework needs replacing on the tower
- Some of the brickwork and coping stones at the top of the tower are loose and dangerous
- The stained glass is holding together the stone tracery in the east windows
- A new door will give access from the Tom Hauley Room foyer to the Memorial Garden
- Repairs will ensure the church is watertight and safe
- A number of broken roof tiles need replacing
- Scaffolding and craftmanship will cost approximately £200,000
- Following these repairs the church will be fit for the next generation
Sound
- Additional loudspeakers will ensure that sound is audible in every part of the church.
- A modern and efficient audio-visual system, linked, in both the church and Tom Hauley Room.
- This will cost approximately £75,000.
Vision
- Video projectors in both the church and the Tom Hauley Room will enable streamed presentations of all kinds.
- A roll-down screen in church will make pictures and film clearly visible to audiences along with a monitor in the Tom Hauley west room.
- Internet connection will enable viewing online for services, baptisms, weddings and funerals, and for cultural, local and national events; large meetings, concerts, choirs and theatre.
- Wifi and the opportunity for broadcasts, live performances and concerts.
Your donation will contribute to the refurbishment of the church and Tom Hauley Room community spaces.
All Saints will be fit for the 21st century.
