The Winter Woollies concert went ahead safely and happily last Saturday and was much enjoyed by the audience who braved the rather chilly church, wrapped in, as suggested, the much vaunted winter woollies and their masks (apologies if we didn’t recognise some of you!).
Both choirs enjoyed performing in church for the first time in two years and the two different genres of music complemented each other well.
A huge thank you to Warwickshire Singers and Harbury Folk Club Choir, and their respective musical directors (David King and Peter McDonald). Our thanks go of course to the members of both choirs and those who planned, prepared and served mulled wine and mince pies.
Our wonderful and enthusiastic audience has helped us to raise a further £880 for the Heat Light Stone Appeal, an excellent result.
