Thought for the Day 30th June 2020

THIEF

So, one man stole some of what was given.

Do we stop giving?

What of the men and women who didn’t steal,

but used what was given?

Giving their time and skill, Sacrificing home and family

To tend the poor and help the sick; Striving to stem the tide

Of swollen bellies and staring eyes, Of impassive faces of humans who

have nothing, Have nothing to lose and nothing to gain but life itself.

We have plundered the Riches of this God given Earth

For our own gain, For land, For wealth, For comfort, For Power

Who stole what?
