Thought for the Day 17th July 2020

Today’s thought in our series about rest, sleep and the Psalms

In our current lives,  deeply affected by Covid19 (and the lock-down and the social distancing it has brought to us) we all know the stress of daily life.  The effect of the regulations is different for different people. For some this means getting up early and staying up late.  For others, the result is  long periods of  doing very little.  Whatever the consequence for an individual, However we spend our days,  they are “vain” or empty when we fail to factor in sufficient times for rest and sleep.
